About Me
Katasha’s diverse upbringing and cultural background was shaped growing up in London, Germany, and Spain - just to name a few of the numerous relocations her father’s enlistment in the United States Air Force took her family. A native of Florida, the opportunity to travel the world led her to pursue a career in Public Relations - where she could be in the company of those bringing life to other people’s stories and worlds.
She is an alum of Pace University’s, Actors Studio Drama School, where she received her MFA in Acting. In addition, Katasha also received her MBA in International Business and a BA in Communication from Florida Atlantic University.

As an Actor, Katasha is the lead of B-Sides, an award-winning pilot presentation she created, wrote, and produced. Her television and film credits include a guest starring role in the series, FLOW!, and a recurring role in the independent series, Plead. She appeared in the NYU produced film, The Ballad of Bobby Carr, and the James N. Kienitz Wilkins directed, Mediums.

Katasha was the first Actors Studio student chosen as a member of the highly selective and prestigious Williamstown Theater Festival (WTF) non-equity company; where she was cast in the lead role in the Lucy Thurber written, Once Upon a Time… At WTF, she was also cast in a supporting role in The Amish Project; the musical, Damsel in Distress, and a staged reading of A Streetcar Named Desire, directed by Lila Neugebauer. She has also appeared in the off-off Broadway production of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot; and was cast as the Lady in Green in a production of For Colored Girls… at the Stella Adler Theater in Los Angeles, CA.
As a Writer, Katasha was selected as a Finalist for the 2021 Sundance Episodic Lab for her pilot script, Miami Rising. Her award-winning series, B-Sides, premiered at SeriesFest as a finalist in the Independent Pilot – Drama competition. The series was recognized at the BronzeLens Festival, Warner Media’s NY Latino Film Festival, SoHo International Film Festival, Orlando Film Festival, Flicker’s Rhode Island Film Festival, Austin Film Festival (Semi-Finalist) and ChainNYC Film Festival. B-Sides received ‘Best of Fest’ awards from the Chelsea Film Festival, Charlotte Black Film Festival, National Black Film Festival, and the IndieFest Film Awards. Her pilot script, Leapers, is currently being considered for development by a well-known Disney executive.
As a Producer, Katasha served as the Associate producer and co-casting director of, Cracked, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, made its rounds at the Bentonville Film Festival, BronzeLens, HollyShorts Film Festival, American Black Film Festival, Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival, Pan African Film Festival, Flicker’s Rhode Island Film Festival, and many others. Cracked can now be seen on HBO and Hulu. She also served as the Executive and Line Producer of B-Sides, as well the short films, Breathing and Circumstances. She is currently in pre-production, serving as Producer on the short film, Whispers of an Ethereal Leopardess.
Katasha’s additional IP’s include the comedy pilot, Off the Wagon, On the Pole, the short film, Take Care, and the stage productions, All We Got and The Body Remembers.
